Albertsons Shopping ~ All this $18.59

I had $41.10 in coupons! One item is missing from the photo ~ a country crocks side dish (we already ate it!) Albertsons was having a deal that if you spend $25 on certain products you'd get $10 in free meat or seafood. They had lots of products listed but I also needed to focus on finishing up my Unilever deal (some more info on that here) so I picked items that qualified for that too. For the $10 in free meat I picked the 2 - 4lb hams at $5.96 each (I had a rain check from a deal they were running a week ago.) The other large spiral cut ham I picked up at Costco for the Unilever Rebate ~ so I'll get $19.97 back for that.
This is what I picked up: 3 jars Ragu, 4 skippy pb's, 2 breyers ice creams, 1 kraft singles, 1 country crock side dish, and the 2 hams. I checked the dates on the peanut butter (they are good 'till mid 2010) the smaller hams are in the freezer ~ and the rest won't last all that long. I'm sure I'll be posting allotta ham recipes sometime in the future though :-) I had a coupon for everything but the cheese, I needed one last thing to bring my total over $25 and we also needed some cheese.
If I can do this you can too! It just takes a bit of planning and making a list ~ being a little flexible helps too. I actually went to the Albertsons closest to my house - but some of the things I knew I wanted to buy they were out of (and I was never able to find those 2 smaller hams in this particular store, thus the rain checks) ~ I remembered there was another Albertsons close to my sons school and decided to run in there before getting him, and that just worked out better for me. I probably normally (normally I guess would = before my extreme couponing habit) wouldn't have run around like that ~ but in after thought of the Post cereal deals I probably could have saved quite a few more $'s had I visited another store that had better stock for the high $ coupon items, that the store closest to me didn't.
