My quick Walgreens run!

Oreo Cakesters are currently 2 for $5 - I had 2 $1.00 off coupons (from this past weekends paper, I think) = $3 with a $3 Register Reward = FREE OREOS :-)
-
St Ives Body Wash is $2.99 with a $3 Register Reward = FREE Body Wash (you may have a coupon for this depending on where you live - so this could be better than free :-) ... but the coupons did not come out in the boise area papers)
-
Rolaids $2.99 with a $2 Register Reward = 99cents
-
Bull Frog Sunscreen $6.99 - there was a $2 off coupon attached to it = $4.99 ... I know this is not the best of the best prices for sunscreen - but I really like the way this goes on! It dries really quick and does not dry greasy ... I would have bought it with out the coupon - but don't tell anybody!
-
These deals on the oreos & body wash will be good through Saturday ... the rolaids, I think, are through this month?

Walgreens ~ A few things to look for May31 - June6

I've been having a busy week but had a Register Reward that was expiring today - so off to Walgreens I went ...

-

$2.99! Revlon Hairdryer - this is being advertised for $19.99 on page 11 - but in the store it was $12.99 with a $10.00 register reward ... so a nice new hairdryer for $2.99!

-

99 cents Bic Soleil Razors - these are on sale for $4.99 minus $3.00 coupon from the newspaper coupon insert minus $1.00 register reward.

-

Free Dial Shower Gel in the trial size - these were 99cents and I had 2 $1.00 internet printable coupons ... I believe these were on the green coupon toolbar a week or two ago ... so if you printed yourself some go get your free shower gel!

Coupon ~ Purex

Click - here - to go there. Click on the send to a friend to print your coupon.
-
I used these coupons with doublers at Albertsons some time last week (I purchased 1 detergent & 1 softner), they were $2.49 each minus the coupon doubled = $1.49 each, at that time another coupon printed for $1.50 off 2 purex fabric softners ... so today I purchased the 2 softners - again with doublers - at $1.49 each minus the $1.50 coupon that I received on the last purchase, making these 74cents each ... AND THEN a $2.00 Register Award + another coupon for $2.00 off 3 fabric softners printed! So it's a great time to stock up on some fabric softner!

Walgreens ~ May 17-23

I had a register reward that was expiring so I took a quick run through Walgreens today to roll it. This transaction was $1.36 (including tax) out of pocket. Just this morning hubby mentioned we needed more coffee filters ... so these make a great filler (the walgreens coupon for these is on page 6 and they are 99cents) - the toothpaste was $4.49 minus $1.00 off coupon (from this - post -) plus I got back a Register Reward for $4.49 (see back page of ad.)
-
A few other things I might be looking for at Walgreens this week:
*
Page 9 OFF! Clip-on Mosquito Protection / $8.99 minus $3 register reward = $5.99 / In todays paper there is a $2.00 off coupon - so that would make this $3.99 -or-
There is a B1G1 free coupon - here - so along with the $2.oo coupon in the paper this would make them $2.00 each.
*
Page 12 Bic Bonus Pack Utility Lighter / $2.99 minus $1 register reward = $1.99 / in todays paper there is a $1.00 coupon or print one - here - making this 99cents
*
Page 19 buy $10 of first aid product (band-aid or neosporin) receive $4 register reward = $6.00 minus four $1.00 coupons from newspaper = $2.00 or 50cents per box
*
Page 19 tums $3.99 with instore coupon minus $1.00 coupon that is out from paper = $2.99
-
If ya don't have enough shaving cream:
*
Page 13 Skintamate or Edge Shave Gel / $1.99 minus $1 register reward = 99 cents / there is a $1 off coupon out (from paper) for the Skintamate making it free / and a 75cent coupon (from paper) for the edge making it 24cents
-
Page 8 this Aveeno deal is still going on, see my post - here -
-
Page 15 Right Guard Professional / $5.99 minus $5 register reward = $.99 / there is also a $1.00 coupon out from the paper making this free.
-
There are also some great fillers with in-store coupons:
*
back page Aluminum Foil or Wax Paper 89cents
*
Page 3 Royal Jellos 4 for $1.00
*
Page 3 Mac & Cheese 69cents
*
Page 7 Potting Soil 99cents
*
These are just a few things that caught my attention!

Sure*Jell at Fred Meyer ~ 25cents for One!

I picked these up yesterday at FM ... of course with all the times I've been to the store the past few days I didn't have any whipping cream for my cream puffs! There are a few other good deals going on at FM but I was in a hurry yesterday so I'm hoping to make it back within the next day or two.

-

These came to 25cents for one package:

-

$8.00 ($2 each)

minus

$4.00 ($1 coupon each from the newspaper)

minus

$3.00 Catalina (Register Reward) that prints

=

$1.00 for 4

~ * ~ * ~

I always make strawberry jam -and- recently we enjoyed this strawberry/banana one ... but I think I'll be trying a few others too. Click - here - for a list of recipes from the Sure Jell site.

Walgreens Trip! 67cents!

After all the Albertsons doublers Walgreens seems uneventful - but here it is anyways :-) Out-of-pocket cost: 67cents (this is with tax) coupons were from the newspaper.

FREE Food! ~ Albertsons

This sale is from the back page of the ad (there are more items listed, the photo is just from the top portion.)

---

I purchased:

5 BBQ sauces at $1 each = $5.00

2 Mac&cheese at $2.50 each = $5.00

this = $10.00 minus the save $3.00 instantly = $7.00

I used five 75cent coupons for the BBQ - minus $3.75 = $3.25

I used one $1.50 coupon for the mac&cheese = $1.75

and received a $2.50 catalina for the BBQ - minus $2.50 = FREE FOOD (+ an overage of 33cents that included the tax)

---

The best way to get the best deal on these sales is to look for items that you use and have coupons for & if catalinas are out for these it will make the deal even better.

---

Right now there is a catalina out for the BBQ sauce:

Buy 6 receive $3.00

Buy 5 receive $2.50 (this is what I received)

Buy 4 receive $2.00

---

Starting tomorrow (the 8th) there will also be a catalina out for the mac & cheese ... I'm showing that it starts at buy 4 receive $1.00, buy 5 $1.50, & buy 6 $2.00 and it may also apply to the easy mac cups.

Terrific Soda Sale ~ Walgreens

These come out to $2.00 for a 12 pack ~ that's a good deal. They are almost $4.00 for the same thing at Walmart. I picked up a 7-up and 2 Rootbeers, paid with register rewards from the toothpaste and paid $2.00+tax out of pocket for three 12 packs!

Walgreens ~ May 3-9

My total cost for all of this was $11.36 ~ I did use previous Register Rewards to pay for this (but I don't include them in the savings because I do so when I purchase the item) so the total cash that came out of my pocket when I purchased all of this was $8.15 ($2.51 of this was tax.) I think this was a pretty good deal because just 2 of the Smart Rinses would normally cost $8! ~ and these are all items that I regularly purchase.

1 Colgate Sensitive Whitening at $4.49 minus $1.00 coupon (from - here -) minus $4.50 Register Reward = FREE + $1.00

4 Pert Plus Shampoos at 2/$5 = $10.00 minus $4.00 in coupons (print - here -) minus $4.00 in Register Rewards = $2.00 or 50cents per shampoo

4 Smart Rinse at 2/$9.00 = $18.00 minus $4.00 in coupons (I had some from the paper & can also print - here -) minus $9.00 in Register Rewards = $5.00 or $1.25 each

1 Dawn Dish soap at 99cents minus 50cent coupon I had = $.49

3 Starbucks Frapps at 3/$5 minus 3 $1.00 coupons (from - here -) = $2.00 or 67cents each

3 Pocket Tissues (used as fillers) at 29cents each = 87cents

2 lighters (also used as filler & because for some reason hubby asked me to pick some of these up?) $2.00

-----

a few other noteworthy deals:

Right Guard Deodorant for $2.99 minus $1.00 coupon that was in today's paper minus $2.00 Register Reward makes this FREE

Fiber Choice $10.99 for 90 tablets minus $2.00 coupon that was in today's paper minus $3.00 Register Reward = $5.99

Bic Soleil Razors for $5.99 minus $2.00 coupon from paper minus $2.00 Register Reward = $1.99

V8 Fusion Juice 2/$6 minus 2 $2.00 coupons (from - here -) = $1.00 each

A few Albertson Deals ~ 30 April

This all came up to $19.32 (this includes the catalinas I received back) ~ it should have been $17.82, after checking my receipt I noticed that one of my coupons for $1.50 was not deducted ... but this can occasionally happen when handing over a handful of coupons and trying to work "the deals" ~ and the cashier I had for this transaction is always terrific & helpful when it comes to making sure everything is there ... so don't get frustrated, sometimes this can happen & sometimes the opposite happens ... shortly after that when I picked my son up from school we went to Wendy's to use the frosty coupon - see here - and after checking my receipt later I think they under-charged me by $1.00

-----

On to the transaction ... I think it was a pretty good deal! In the past just 2 of the organic un-sweetened cranberry juices would have almost cost me this much! and we drink a lot of these! Will post more on that later.

-----

I decided to purchase the pringles along with the puff tissues for the P&G deal of buy $20 get $5 in a catalina back - so that takes the total for these items to $15 already - then I received another $3 in a catalina to be used on other P&G items bringing this to $12, then I used five $1.00 coupons and doubled 2 of these(from the paper for the pringles buy 2 get $1 off) this brings the total for these items to $5.00 minus another 25cent coupon for the puffs = $4.75 for 10 cans of pringles and 4 boxes of tissues ... so about 34cents per item for this particular "deal."

-----

I also purchased 6 coffee mates for the "deal" on page 3 of the Albertsons ad - you only need to purchase 5, but I had 3 coupons for $1.50 off 2 (this is where one of my coupons was missed though) so: 6 at $2 each = $12 minus $2 in instant savings - minus 2 coupons at $1.50 each = $7.00 makes these $1.17 each ... really not that good of a deal, if my other coupons would have been scanned they would have been 92cents each (print coupons - here - if you can print the $1.00 off ones this will be a really good bargain - buy 5 for $10.00 then minus $2 instant & $5 in coupons would make these 60cents each -, but we use a lot of coffee creamer so I had already reached my print limit on these for now)

-----

I also purchased french bread for dinner ... I love Albertsons french bread! And the Land O'Lakes Spreadable Butter is on sale for 4 for $5 buy 2 and get a 50cent catalina - also use 55cent coupon from here - if you buy 2 this makes them 45cents each. Tortillas were free, I'll post on that in a bit & 2 Cranberry Juices at $4.99 each (which can seem pretty expensive for Cranberry Juice unless you drink unsweetened organic cranberry juice!)

-----

So those are pretty much all of the details - so that you can also go forth and work your own good deal :-)

Walgreens ~ Great Deals ~ All this $2.82

I did pay for these in separate transactions ~ but this sums it up:

-----

4 Nivea Body Washes:

$19.96 (4.99each) minus 4 $1.00 coupons (print - here -) = $15.96, received $20.00 (4 at $5each) in Register Rewards makes these FREE plus a profit of +$4.04!

-----

2 Rembrandt Mouthwashes:

$11.98 (5.99each) - received $12.00 (2 at $6each) in Register Rewards making these FREE plus a profit of +2cents!

-----

2 Tresemme Hairsprays:

$7.00 (3.50each) minus 2 $1.00 coupons (print - here -) = $5.00, received $2.00 in Register Rewards makes these $3.00 or $1.50 per bottle.

-----

2 Got2be Hair Products:

$10.00 (5.00each) minus 2 $2.00 coupons (print - here -) = $6.00, received $5.00 in Register Rewards which makes these $1.00 or 50cents a piece.

-----

1 Blistex Raspberry Lemonaide:

84cents on clearance (check the clearance section - this has an expiration date of 2011, so the items are still good) with a 25cent off coupon that was attached to it = 59cents

-----

1 Pack of Tissues:

29cents (used as a filler item: coupons + register rewards need to = the number of items you have ~ you can't have more coupons + register rewards than items, if you need a more in depth explanation of this feel free to e-mail me)

-----

2 Bag Clippies:

$2.00 ($1 each card) one of these was also used as a filler item - the other one we just needed 'cause we're always looking for something to hold a bag closed around this house!

-----

These are all items we usually use (I may not have used some of the brands before) & I've definitely paid more than $2.82 for just a single mouthwash in the past! Check the ads and plan carefully and you too can do this!!!

These are what caught my interest ... there are a lot of other good deals too - let me know what you come up with ... and I'll also be posting a few other things for this week from Walgreens later in the day.

A few other "Good Deals" I came across this week!

I did manage to stop by Walgreens on Earth Day and received an extra 15% discount. I got my free bag and picked up 2 more Dawn dish soaps (each 47cents) and a case of water (thus the little coupon in the pic, I didn't feel like dragging it in for the photo shoot!): My subtotal came to $1.82 for these items.

I found the John Frieda shampoo & conditioner on clearance at Albertsons this past week ~ they were $3.24 a bottle minus a $2.00 coupon (from the paper) that I had for each one - this brings them to $1.24 a bottle - for a subtotal of $7.44 -then- a $5.00 register reward printed! making them approximately 41cents a bottle (the original price per bottle was $6.49.) I think you only need to buy 5 for the register reward, so that would make them even less in price per bottle! So check out the clearance merchandise while you're shopping and if you've got any matching coupons ... you'll never know what good deals you'll find!

Another Walgreens Deal for Next Week!

Print this $2.00 - here - and hold on to it to use at Walgreens next week. It's for Schwarzkopf got2b hair styling products. They should by 2 for $10 with a $5 register reward, minus these coupons that would make them 50cents a piece. Print now - don't wait the coupon may not be there next week!

NIVEA $1.00 Coupon

I've heard that Nivea will a register reward at Walgreens next week - so print this coupon - from here - and you should be looking at some free Nivea next week!

Walgreens Trip! $1.73

Order #1:

2 Coffeemate Creamers at 2 for $3.00 minus $1.50 coupon makes these 75 cents each (print coupon here - I only had the $1.50off2 on me, they'll only be 50cents each if use the $1.00off1 coupon for each one),

3 kleenex at 89cents each (show walgreens ad coupon, these are on the front page) minus 50centoff3 coupon from newspaper - so these were 72cents a box,

Colgate Toothbrush $3.29 minus $1.00 coupon (print here) & these received a $3.50 register reward!

Paid with a previous register reward & the rest was $1.00 (and I also got the $3.50 register reward from the toothbrush)

Order #2:

Another toothbrush (same scenario as above), scunci these were $2 with a $2.00 register reward!, and 4 toilet paper rolls (I needed these as fillers to use my coupons ~ see post here) I wouldn't recommend these though ~ if ya need a filler go for the 59cent aluminum foil on page 4)

Paid with previous register rewards & the rest was 73cents (and I got two register rewards one for $2.00 and one for $3.50)

Keep those register rewards rolling!!!

Walgreens Upcoming Register Rewards

Colgate MaxFresh and MaxWhite toothbrushes will have a register reward starting tomorrow (the 12th) The toothbrushes are $3.29 and the register reward should also be $3.29. Use this $1.00 coupon also. Just sign-in or register to get the coupon. So this will be free plus an overage, so just watch out for that.

REMEMBER: Walgreens will only accept the # of register rewards/coupons for the # of items you have - the easiest way for me to remember this is one piece of paper for every one item (if this makes sense?) if I have more coupons/register rewards than I have items I'll usually throw a piece of chocolate or candy in there ~ at least this always makes my son happy! ALSO: make sure you always use a different register reward to pay for a different item ~ say if you use the register reward from the toothbrush deal to pay for another toothbrush, you won't get another register reward ~ but, if you use a register reward from say the shaving gel deal that was going on to pay for the toothbrush you will get another register reward.

The Edge Shave Gel or Skintimate deal is still going on - pay $2.99 and get a $3.00 Register Reward. (I think we're well stocked on that front now!)

I'll also be getting the printer cartridge refill for $7.50 then filing for the $7.50 Rebate.

Kleenex Tissues will be 89cents with a Walgreens coupon and I have a coupon for 50 cents off 3 boxes - so 72cents a box

Also coffee-mate creamers 2 for $3 - print $1 coupons here - making these 50cents each ... we go through alot of coffee creamer :-)

Another Axe Shower Gel Deal ~ there is a $3 register reward when you buy 2 (these are 2 for 10) - use $1 coupons from last weeks paper - that makes these $2.50 each

Make sure to check the ad ~ I'm only posting the things that really caught my attention and that I'll be looking for ~ let me know if there are any other deals going on worthy of mention!

Walgreens ~ Register Rewards on Colgate Total

Use with $1 off coupon here -or- there was a 75cent off coupon in last weeks paper.

When your purchase this at Walgreens for $3.49 a Register Rewards coupon will also print for $3.49. (this should be applicable through the 11th)
